"Dine and dash is the US phrase for a form of theft by fraud, in which a patron or patrons orders and consumes food and beverages from a restaurant or similar establishment with the intent not to pay. The act may involve the customer leaving the restaurant with the intent of evading payment, or, less commonly, of the patron eating the food and then stating that they do not have any money."

"According to local police, two Marines are accused of skipping out on paying at a local Waffle House and then climbing all over aircraft on display in a local park in Havelock, North Carolina, causing more than $1,000 in damage. Havelock is home to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point."

Police say the pair also climbed on an HH-46E helicopter and tried to spin the Phrog’s blades, then broke the helicopter’s windows to get inside."

A variation of dine and dash involves order a huge meal of many items, eat three-quarters of the food, then saying it doesn't taste any good and walk out the door without paying, daring staff of the restaurant to challenge you.

These guys caught and punishment unremitting will be forthcoming. I sure hope so.
