This is coolbert:
The American Congressman Adam Kinzinger is NOT alone in his advocating a NATO no-fly zone be established over Ukrainian airspace.
From an authoritative source that I trust:
* "Retired British Army Gen. Sir Richard Barrons, ex-head of Joint Forces Command, predicted in a BBC interview that NATO will decree no fly zones. To his credit, he was honest about the consequences. 'It does mean war with Russia,' he said, but suggested his proposed war could be contained to eastern Europe. How that would be assured was left unseaid. (U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) endorsed the same thing. Glenn Greenwald has more.)"
Delaring a no-fly zone over the Ukraine would undoubtedly compel the Russian to challenge NATO/USA. COMPEL. Shooting down a Russian plane or two and the consequences as General Sir Richard said would mean war escalating perhaps beyond control.
ASSURED? HARDLY! I FOR ONE AM NOT!
