PP.

This is coolbert:

PP = Pink Panthers. International criminal gang ex-military. Heists as described done with military-precision and aplomb.

NEVER HEARD OF THESE GUYS BEFORE!

"aplomb: noun Self-confident assurance; poise. Self-possession springing from perfect confidence in one's self; assurance. Assurance of manner or of action; self-possession."

"The Pink Panthers are an international jewel thief network responsible for a number of robberies and thefts described as some of the most audacious in the history of organized crime. The organization has roughly 800 core members, many of whom are ex-soldiers with extensive military and paramilitary backgrounds. The organization's membership mostly consists of Serbian, Montenegrin and other former Yugoslavian state citizens, believed to be remnants of the Bosnian War who have made criminal use of their militaristic skills. The organization was named by Interpol after The Pink Panther series of crime comedy films."

THESE PINK PANTHERS THEIR ACTIVITY CAN SCARCELY BE THOUGHT TO BE "COMEDY".

"The Pink Panthers are responsible for what have been termed some of the most 'glamorous' heists in history, with one criminologist even describing their crimes as 'artistry'. They have operated in numerous countries and on several continents, and include Japan's most successful robbery amongst their thefts."

Consider these fellows as what is called adrenaline junkies. The thrill of the robbery is greater for them than the value of the jewelry. A great pleasure to put your organization planning ability as honed in the military to use. It is all like a commando raid well-behind enemy lines on an unsuspecting adversary.

Monetary gain secondary to the deed itself? Hard to quantify but that is my perspective! Having a nice pocket-full of money granted hardly a trifle.
