Studies.

This is coolbert:

Go see the embedded video.

WARNING: Video shows a wounded Russian prisoner making broadcast after capture. Will be hard for some to watch.

"Chechen General Magomed Tushayev, commander of the 141st Motorized Regiment of the Chechen National Guard, was killed.

As per the Facebook page of:  "Euromaidan, War in Ukraine".

[Scroll the screen to the right to see the gist of the translation!]

"He introduces himself, he's from OMON [Russian para-military police]. They were transported by aircrafts to Sofrino on 3 February 'for studies'. From Sofrino, they marched to Smolensk where they met special forces and Kadirov's regiment. A couple of days before the invasion their smartphones were taken and they were told they go to Belarus for the special operation. They arrived in Gomel region 22 February. 23 February in the morning they were told they are gonna go to a new place for studies. But the next morning they started artillery shooting at Ukraine. They were driven to Ukraine through Prypiat and they met Belarusian soldiers there. Their goal was to enter Kyiv and 'give support' to armed forces in occupying Ukraine. Near Kyiv, their convoy was blown up."

This OMON unit will be used for "pacification" purposes in Ukraine. Was part and parcel of the Chechen hunter-killers sent to the region?

Need I say the man is hors-de-combat now and appears to be in a bad way. Video does not appear to be rehearsed or any coercion involved.
