Conclusion. The Latvian connection the Ukraine Conflict.

Item # 1 source Russia Times. Item # 2 source TASS. Item # 3 source Sputnik. Thanks to one and all.

1. "Mother condemns son’s arrest over Russian flag"

[....]

YET ONCE MORE THE 9 MAY VICTORY DAY CELEBRATION CONTROVERSIAL.

"The mother of a young Latvian man, who is facing charges for brandishing a Russian flag during World War Two Victory Day celebrations in the EU country’s capital, has insisted that his arrest was groundless".

"Alexander Stefanov was detained by police on May 10 near a monument commemorating Soviet soldiers in Riga. He had a Russian national flag with him, and was charged with justifying genocide, crimes against humanity, crimes against peace and war crimes."

2. "Latvia suspends railway transit of military cargo of Belarus"

"VILNIUS, May 15. /TASS/. Latvia has decided to suspend rail transit of Belarusian military cargo through the country's territory to its Baltic seaports, Latvian Ministry of Transport said on Sunday."

"According to Delfi news website, starting from May 10, Latvia suspended the agreement that allowed direct rail transportation of military cargo from Belarus to third countries through Latvian ports."

Violation of an agreement between the two nations that was signed in 1994. Old news now!

3. "Latvian Mercenaries 'En Route to Ukraine' Sport Nazi Insignias– Photos"

Sputnik International, 15.05.2022.

THE LATVIAN NAZI AFFILIATION AND AFFINITY TO SAME?

"Scores of foreign mercenaries flocked to Kiev in the month following the start of the Russian special military operation. Moscow warned that they will become legit targets for its armed forces, and advised foreign governments to dissuade citizens from travelling."

"A Latvian activist has published a photo of a group of seven of his countrymen who he claims decided to travel to Ukraine and fight alongside Kiev's forces. In the photo, two of the military-clad men can be spotted bearing Nazi Totenkopf insignia on their caps."

A grand total of seven young Latvian men is an extreme danger to Vlad and his Ukraine machinations? I think not. That Nazi symbology however often cited as a reason for Russian military action Ukraine.
