"NYT: Iran’s Parchin nuclear site was hit by suicide drones"

"Quadcopter suicide drones launched from inside Iran this week attacked the key Parchin military and nuclear complex, according to anonymous Iranian and US sources cited by the New York Times.  The attack in which an engineer was killed was officially described by Iran’s defense ministry as an 'incident.' The statement said one of the ministry’s research units in the Parchin area was hit and the engineer was a 'martyr.'”

"Iran is known to develop missile, nuclear and drone technology at Parchin. IAEA inspectors are routinely denied access to the site which lies about 50km [about thirty-one miles] southeast of Tehran."

NEED I SAY THAT ATTACKING A NUCLEAR FACILITY WITH KINETIC WEAPONS [SUICIDE DRONES] CAN MEAN A RELEASE OF MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF RADIOACTIVITY INTO THE ATMOSPHERE! I THINK NOT! AND THE PREVAILING WINDS SOUTHEAST OF TEHRAN ARE?

The noted blogger Spengler [David Goldman] rates DEBKAfile as UNRELIABLE under all circumstances. I am not so sure that is so.
