This is coolbert:
Body art RAF. RAF = Royal Air Force [British].
From WIZARD through Harry at Sharkhunters:
"The RAF is relaxing its hard line policy on tattoos in a bid to appeal to boost falling recruit numbers. The Air Force, which was founded in 1918, has never allowed servicemen and women to display body art while wearing uniform but for the first time, personnel, will be allowed to display tattoos on the back and sides of their neck as well as their fingers."
Body art [tattoo] allowed but not to be displayed when military personnel in uniform. A regulation effective for over one-hundred years now no longer applicable.
See previous blog entry [with further embedded links] the subject recruitment to the British military all branches. Good men [and women too for that matter] hard to find.
