Habits such as excessive masturbation and an over indulgence in soft drinks have been pinpointed as reasons for a poor crop of youths trying out for the China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA)."

Chinese PLA during the initial stages of the Korean War their reputation very good. Probably the BEST light infantry in the world.

Lots of money, lots of material goods, lots of self-indulgence and a bunch of just plain ordinary bad habits has weakened the Chinese young man. Chinese young bucks of military age WEAK in comparison to their grandfathers.  And MARKEDLY SO!

Young men of military age unable to pass a routine recruit physical exam a WORLDWIDE phenomenon and must be recognized as so!

The GOOD TIMES have been had by one and all. With disastrous results for military recruitment.
