USS Georgia.

This is coolbert:

"The USS Georgia is armed with 154 Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles and can host up to 66 special operations forces"

As reported by NewsMax an announcement quite [?] startling.

"US Nuclear Submarine Transits Strait of Hormuz amid Tensions"

"DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — An American nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine traversed the strategically vital waterway between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula on Monday, the U.S. Navy said, a rare announcement that comes amid rising tensions with Iran."

Comments:

* Obviously this is an act of intimidation as directed against the Iranian.

* Normally a nuclear powered submarine of the size of the USS Georgia would NOT operate in the vicinity of a choke point such as the Strait of Hormuz or congested waters such as the Persian/Arabian gulf.

* Submarine operations of their very nature NEVER an item of public knowledge. American submariners sworn to an eighty year non-disclosure agreement.

* USS Georgia a converted ballistic missile firing submarine loaded with land-attack cruise missiles of the Tomahawk variety.
