S-200 SA-5.

This is coolbert:

Collateral damage Cyprus.

What goes up must come down!

Thanks to the English tabloid Mirror:

"'Russian-made' missile explodes into fireball in Cyprus near capital city"

"Residents saw a light in the sky and heard three massive explosions when the stray missile hit just miles [kilometers] from Nicosia, Cyprus"

. . . .

"It appears the missile was fired from a Syrian air-defence system guarding against an Israeli strike, and it's the first time Cyprus has been caught in the cross hairs of the war in Syria."

"Israel had launched an air strike against Syria with its warplanes targeting military positions in Homs - just over 190 miles [300 kilometers] from Nicosia - and the outskirts of Damascus, according to Syrian state media."

. . . .

"Syrian air defences had fired at Israeli missiles which were launched from Lebanese airspace, according to the state media report."

Apparently Israeli warplanes over Lebanese air space the target. This was a Russian S-200 SA-5 missile? Missed the target and just kept going and going.

coolbert.
