General Hlaing and his immediate subordinates FORBIDDEN TO TRAVEL to the USA.

An almost totally meaningless gesture. Burmese military figures both paranoid and reclusive, NEVER even leaving the country period!!

So paranoid and reclusive are the Burmese junta on the advice of astrologers the capital city was moved in entirety from Yangon [Rangoon] several hundred miles inland to forestall an attack by U.S. Marines the general officers greatly fear was going to occur.

"junta - - noun: a small group ruling a country, especially immediately after a coup d'état and before a legally constituted government has been instituted."

And General Hlaing there never were any U.S. Marines on the way!!
