Iron I.

This is coolbert:

"And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air"

From the Sheldon Adelson Internet web site Israel Hayom a discussion of the Israeli air defense system Iron Dome.

Consider more than anything else cost effectiveness of the Iron Dome as compared to a laser air defense system and do so with context of a  previous blog entry as found here.

"The cost problem of Iron Dome, and the solution"

IRON DOME AN ISRAELI AIR DEFENSE MISSILE SYSTEM THE MISSION OF WHICH IS TO INTERCEPT AND DESTROY ROCKET ARTILLERY ROUNDS. ALSO EFFECTIVE AGAINST ARTILLERY AND MORTAR ROUNDS?

"Iron Dome saves lives, but every interceptor fired costs some $80,000. Cheaper laser-based alternatives exist that can eradicate threats from multiple rocket barrages."

There IS a CHEAPER way of accomplishing the same mission! But is it ready to go NOW?
