The way it sounds in the media Chinese combat warplanes making high-speed passes directly over Taipei. Scaring the willies out of everyone. It is not so.

Those twenty-seven American combat aviators did not resign their commissions in protest to being ordered to take the Covid-19 vaxx inoculation? Until further clarification it seems this is all a hoax.

As is alleged twelve pilots F-22 pilots and fifteen B-52 bomber pilots gone in the proverbial heart beat. Refusing an order of medical treatment.

NONE of this is so?

Dongsha [Pratas] that orange blob. Distance between Kaohsiung City and Dongsha about two-hundred forty miles [384 kilometers]. Distance between Taipei City and Dongsha about four-hundred twenty miles [672 kilometers]. Taiwanese ADIZ extends too far out beyond normal to be credible? Unscheduled flights in the ADIZ failing to identify when hailed labeled as hostile/intruder but not for good reason? 

G2mil correct? Taiwan ADIZ having been designated by American general officers in the aftermath of WW2 no longer valid? That result excessively alarmist headlines that does no one any good?

THIS IS GOING TO BE MAJOR? PERHAPS VERY MAJOR?

Comments:

* As far as I know, such a mass resignation is unprecedented. Career officers of the most profound ability leaving the military service en masse again NEVER heard of.

* Pilots flying the F-22 Raptor top-of-the-line fighter plane hard to replace. And a group of them all at once departing substitutes going to be hard to find if not even available at all!!

* The manner with this edict [order] promulgated very grating too. You receive the text in the early hours of the morning and told you must comply that same morning. I imagine these proud pilots insulted in the extreme. Their resignations totally understood.

WE HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST OF THIS I PRESUME.

Others are asking the same question as I did. HOW has the basic JDAM system been modified so as to be able to hit a MOVING target? JDAM normally only [?] used against a static target the GPS coordinates of which are well established.

A "mix of options" are available to make the JDAM system more robust?

"Some sort of multi-mode guidance system with a mix of options, such as millimeter-wave radar and imagining infrared seekers, in addition to the JDAM's standard GPS/INS combination, could provide this capability. The Air Force already has at least one weapon, the GBU-53/B StormBreaker, in service now with this kind of seeker system."

Think also from the era of WW2 and the German glide bombs Fritz-X and Henschel 293. Effective against naval targets moving. 

This improved version JDAM weapon it is quite clear to me is aimed [quite literally so] at the Chinese navy. Beware China, your naval assets now in much more precarious position. So is the message!
