This is coolbert:
Hamas does have naval commando combat swimmer units with a fairly sophisticated weapons inventory to include an underwater combat drone.

"Underwater drones are increasingly a feature of modern warfare. Now footage of Hamas' own take on these vehicles, a form of limited scope torpedo, has emerged"
See the You Tube video the Al-Asef underwater combat drone:
"Hamas has shown a promotional video of its ‘Al-Asef’ guided ‘torpedo’. The locally produced weapon has reportedly been used against multiple Israeli targets. This gives us our first look at this type of weapon in service with Hamas"
Israeli YALTAM unit presumably on the look-out to recover an intact and operational Al-Asef drone. Examine closely in an effort to devise possible Israeli counter-measures.
That value of asymmetric warfare as waged by naval commando personnel cannot be over-estimated. In particular I am thinking of the USS Card, the Second Indo-China War, 1964.
"In 1964, while operating as an aircraft ferry, [USS] Card was sunk with explosives planted by two Viet Cong commandos in the Harbor of Saigon, South Vietnam. She was refloated 17 days later and returned to service after extensive repairs."
coolbert.
