This is coolbert:
Here, thanks to the South Asia Terrorism Portal, read details as gleaned from interrogation of the one captured Mumbai terrorist.
Printed in entirety for your edification:
"Ajmal Amir Kamal [the captured terrorist] confessed that the group had planned to sail out on November 27. Their recruiters had even charted out the return route for them and stored it on the Global Positioning System (GPS) device which they had used to navigate on their way to the Mumbai shoreline. He also confessed that they were all trained in marine warfare along with the special course Daura-e-Shifa conducted by the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT). Ajmal identified his associates as Abu Ali, Fahad, Omar, Shoaib, Umer, Abu Akasha Ismail, Abdul Rahman (Bada) and Abdul Rahman (Chhota), all Pakistani citizens. According to him, on their way from Karachi they killed five fishermen and forcefully captured the trawler Kuber. After reaching Mumbai coast, they split up into five batches. Two of them, Ismail and Ajmal, took a taxi to Victoria Terminus. Three other batches of two each headed for Oberoi Hotel, Cafe Leopold and Nariman House. The remaining four went to Taj Hotel. Kasab, a native of Faridkot in the Punjab province of Pakistan, who sustained minor injuries in the police firing that killed his partner Abu Ismail on November 26-night, was produced before the Esplanade Metropolitan Magistrate on November 28 and remanded to police custody till December 8. Kasab and Ismail were the two who shot dead Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) chief Hemant Karkare, Additional Commissioner of Police Ashok Kamte and senior Mumbai Police officer Vijay Salaskar. An ATS source said that 16 fidayeen (suicide squad) terrorists came to Mumbai on November 26. Kasab told police that they had done a reccee [reconnaissance] of Mumbai [a] few months ago. He said he had come along with eight of the operatives to Mumbai as students and lived in a rented room at Colaba market near the Nariman House."
Personally, I am puzzled as to the exact number of attackers involved in the Mumbai atrocity. Was it sixteen, twelve, or ten? I just find all these accounts to be confusing. Seems that it was ten, five groups of two villains each!?
And this captured villain, Kamal - - I don't know if you saw it on TV this evening, but they have a video of the miscreant on the ground, wounded, being clubbed by the Indian police. Sort of like the Los Angeles police stomping on Rodney Glen King!! You remember! I am sure someone will be find this beating to be so offensive!!
Too bad for Kamal!! Make a hard bed - - lay on it!! Something like that!
That Rabbi and his wife were horribly tortured in a manner that will not be disclosed. Something really bad was done to them!!
