This is coolbert:;
I have big time trouble with this.
CADET. Program to be implemented that will allow pregnant cadets in the various military academies to continue their education without prejudice. I almost was ready to say pregnant female cadets but then realized that would be redundant.
"AT SERVICE ACADEMIES, PREGNANCY MAY NO LONGER MEAN THE END OF A CAREER"
From the webzine Coffee or Die MIL & INTEL section the article by Maggie Ben Zvi.
"Unlike women in nearly every other position in the US military, if a cadet at a service academy such as the US Military Academy at West Point or the Air Force Academy gets pregnant, she faces a stark choice: Get an abortion, sever your parental rights to your child, or get kicked out of school."
Onerous regulations not in keeping with modern times? NO really good option but that is intentional?
CADETS AT THE MILITARY ACADEMIES ARE THE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE AND ARE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD OF COMPORTMENT THAN THAT OF THE COMMON SOLDIER/SAILOR/AIR FORCE PERSONNEL. [AGAIN, I WAS TEMPTED TO SAY AIRMAN BUT THAT IS NOT VALID IN THIS CONTEXT]
Think rather unwanted pregnancy NOT an option. Self-control in all aspects of life a most important attribute of future officers.
