From the tip courtesy Veterans Today the You tube video a Soviet/Russian assault rifle AK [Avtomat Kalashnikov] put through the paces.

Not considered normal. Of course it is not. Hardly ever if at all the average-everyday infantry wielding an AK would ever expend that amount of ammunition in such a short time. Could not carry that amount of ammunition to begin with and would be considered to be wasteful in such a profligate expenditure of ammunition. Absurd. Nonetheless the AK design as generally conceded a robust design.
