There are not yet any reports of a Royal Navy or French Navy escort. The Kilo Class attack submarine, which can be armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, has been tracked by open-source intelligence analysts since it left Syria."

She left the Black Sea last year, passing through the Bosporus on March 14, 2019. However, instead of proceeding directly for maintenance, she has spent the last 15 months operating as part of the 5th Operational Squadron in the Mediterranean."
