Gargantuan.

This is coolbert.

Continued attacks shipping the Red Sea. Drones, cruise missiles, all intercepted by American military assets to include fighter planes.

"U.S. Navy Shoots Down 12 Houthi Drones and Five Missiles in One Day"

From |https://www.breitbart.com | JOHN HAYWARD |  27 Dec 2023.

"U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Tuesday that the Iran-backed Houthi terrorists of Yemen launched a massive barrage of drones and missiles at Israel, only to see their weapons intercepted and destroyed by the guided missile destroyer USS Laboon and F/A-18 fighters from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower carrier battle group."

"CENTCOM said U.S. forces 'shot down twelve one-way attack drones, three anti-ship ballistic missiles, and two land attack cruise missiles in the Southern Red Sea that were fired by the Houthis over a 10 hour period.'”

F-18 Hornets flying off the Dwight David Eisenhower aircraft carrier successfully engage and destroy some of these dozen targets ostensibly using Sidewinder or an advanced air to air missile. All those missiles, of course very expensive, and once again, the ratio BCR in favor of the Yemeni attacker Hootie Tootie.

US Navy continues to want to intercept drones at long range rather than let them get close to either military or commercial shipping the Red Sea

From my perspective, the obvious intent of the Hootie Tootie is to exhaust the surface to air missile inventory of these various surface vessels as has been mentioned in a previous blog entry. American warships will have to return to a USA port to reload the vertical launch system cells

F-18 Hornets also functioning as flying radar with net centric capability.

Good job Navy.
