This is coolbert:

Vladlen gone. Prominent Russian military blogger. Assassination carried out by the "dark forces" of who exactly not clear.

"Bomb kills Russian war blogger in St Petersburg cafe"

From Reuters by Mark Trevelyan and Felix Light | April 2, 2023.

* "Leading military blogger killed in cafe explosion"

* "Russian-installed official blames Ukrainian 'terrorism'"

* "Ukrainian adviser says 'domestic terrorism' has hit Russia"

"April 2 (Reuters) - Well-known Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky was killed by a bomb blast in a St Petersburg cafe on Sunday in what appeared to be the second assassination on Russian soil of a figure closely associated with the war in Ukraine."

[....]

"Tatarsky, whose real name was Maxim Fomin, had more than 560,000 followers on Telegram and was one of the most prominent of the military bloggers who have championed Russia's war effort in Ukraine while often criticizing the army top brass."

Read the wiki entry for Vladlen. Quite a history, warts and all. Vladlen his military service as an active participant in the Donbass War made him uniquely [?] qualified to report on the Ukraine Conflict.

More:

"An explosion occurred in St. Petersburg, Russia during a meeting organized by Pro-Russian military blogger -  Vladen Tatarsky. The cafe was owned by PMC Wagner chief Evgeniy Prigozhin. Unknown woman gifted Tatarsky a small statue with explosive device."

Yours truly as a dedicated military blogger glad he lives USA! I am safe from danger. I am, aren't I?
