The fearsome and unstoppable Russian hypersonic missile, not so unstoppable. American Patriot SAM able to counter Khinzal. At least in the hands of Ukrainian AD missile men it is.

"The US-supplied Patriot air defense system shot down a ‘record’ ten hypersonic missiles fired at Ukraine from Russia on Tuesday morning. Kinzhal hypersonic missiles are part of an arsenal of weapons Vladimir Putin claimed were indestructible because of the speed at which they travel. Kyiv earlier said that Russia fired 99 missiles of different types at Ukraine in its large-scale attack on Tuesday morning, and that its air force shot down 72 of them"
See previous blog entry, the ability of Ukrainian missile men to shoot down the Russian Khinzal hypersonic missile using American Patriot SAM to do so. Something which was previously thought to be impossible is no impossible:
Here in the nutshell as they say a You Tube Short that explains succinctly exactly what is wrong with the North Korean ammunition 152 mm that has been supplied to the Russian. Bang stuff goes off prematurely, explodes, sometimes mortally dangerous to the user
Russians, no longer using the 1 million rounds of ammunition they purchased from the North Koreans finally be too unstable and again poses a little danger to the user
Undoubtedly much of North Korean industry and munitions production is very similar. Very poor quality control.
Is any of this possible? Plausibility is questionable?
That a single American Arleigh Burke class destroyer flight 3+ would be able to thwart the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor 7 December 1941.

I think here assumptions being made most critical.

* That Arleigh Burke destroyer would have been moored at battleship row Ford Island Pearl Harbor.
*The 96 vertical launch system cells of the destroyer would be filled totally with Standard Missileanti-aircraft weaponry.
* The Helios directed energy weapon would have been effective against incoming Japanese aircraft.Of this I cannot be sure.
* The 5 inch 127 mm gun could have engaged high-flying level-bombers of the Japanese attack force using variable time fuses, but would’ve had only twenty rounds to do so.
* It is not mentioned in this YouTube Short the use of Close In Weapon System Phalanx 20 mm gun.
* I would suspect that the 20 mm CIWS guns would be most effective against low-flying Japanese torpedo bombers as attacking Pearl Harbor.
* Worse than the physical damage of 1/3 of the Japanese attack force being destroyed before even commencing their attack would be the psychological damage. 100% damage from an unknown source of which there was no possible counter measure and everybody would’ve said this is useless. So many destroyed warplanesand more importantly the deaths of so many very experienced combat aviators would been too great for the gain to press home the attack.
* Nagumo, in command of the Japanese 1st Air Fleet would seriously have considered calling off the attack and departing the Hawaiian island chain in an expeditious manneras possible. That 1st Air Fleethad more important tasks in the future what were called Southern Operations by the Japanese. Attacks on the Philippines, Dutch East Indies, Malaya and further afield if possible.
So it is plausible indeed, at least from my perspective that a single American destroyer modern Arleigh Burke flight 3+ could have averted American disaster Pearl Harbor, 7 December 1941.
addendum: "For the attack on Pearl Harbor, this fleet had a strength of 103 level bombers, 128 dive bombers, 40 torpedo bombers, 88 fighter planes, plus 91 planes for a total of 441 planes."

What makes that possible is that the missile hits the targets at speeds similar to rifle bullets. When using a high speed missile against a warship, the damage was extensive. The Navy verified this during a SINKEX, or sinking exercise where a retired warship is used as the target."
An ordinary US American Navy antiaircraft Standard Missile [SM] has been modified and tested to be used in the ballistic mode of operation for ground-attack or ship-attack. Both I might think.

Everybody intuitively understands the battlefield is a dangerous place. It is even a more dangerous place when you have to worry about your own ordnance blowing up and killing you.
And to all of this Comrade Kim of Pyongyang in the DPRK would say what exactly?
"December 31, 2023: A Ukrainian firm recently revealed it had developed the AQ 400, a cheap, long range UAV that can make attacks over 700 kilometers [420 miles] into Russia while carrying 32 kg [70 pounds] of explosives. Cut the range in half and 70 kg [150 pounds] of explosives can be carried. Each AQ 400 costs $30,000. The airframe is made of plywood. Initial production is about a hundred a month. That will gradually increase to 500 and then 1,000 a month. AQ 400 can takeoff from short runways or via a catapult. It travels at 144 kilometers an hour [86/mph] and can stay in the air for six and a half hours."
Can take-off from a conventional airfield using the tricycle landing gear or using a catapult for launch. A very innovative design. The entire war plane made of plywood with a range fairly extensive range. Notice also the price $30,000 USD a copy and will be able to be manufactured in the quantity of 1,000 a month!
