LAC.

This is coolbert:

LAC = Line of Actual Contact. 4,000 kilometers - 2,500 miles.

Troops are massing! Troops are always massing! This time ominously.

More Ladakh stuff. Conflict between India and China over a border dispute not only continues but the potentiality for further escalation marked now.

The tip courtesy Free Republic and thanks to same.

"China deploys troops all along 4,000-km LAC (with India)"

"Even as India and China continue to discuss ways to reduce tensions in Eastern Ladakh, it is emerging that the Chinese Army has deployed its troops all along the over 4,000 kilometre-long Line of Actual Control after which India has also rushed its fighting formations to forward locations"

Deployment/counter-deployment. Once the movements of large masses of troops begins war cannot be avoided? As it was in World War One.

To me, again, this all sounds ominous. India in case of war with China would have a low nuclear thresh-hold?
