"WE DID NOT GIVE THE CIVILIAN POPULACE OF THOSE CITIES A SUFFICIENT WARNING TO FLEE! WARNING GIVEN BUT TOO VAGUE."

Leaflets as dropped on Japanese cities prior to the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki warning of impending doom. End the war or perish! That was the message!

 "America Warned Hiroshima and Nagasaki Citizens"

"Shortly before the US dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, the United Stated showered the Japanese cities of Nagasaki, Hiroshima, and 33 other potential targets with over 5 million leaflets warning civilians of the impending attack"

This image is the exact leaflet as dropped on the many Japanese cities?

This too! American radio station broadcasting the same message to the Japanese people repeatedly. SURRENDER or you will perish!

"An American-controlled radio station on Saipan was broadcasting a similar message to the Japanese people every 15 minutes."

That Japanese population not allowed on pain-of-death to read such leaflets or listen to foreign radio broadcasts? American efforts for naught but the intention was good.
