EGTC.

This is coolbert:

From the outstanding Internet web site "Covert Shores" we have some interesting items, the naval war, Ukraine Conflict.

Thanks to H. I. Sutton in all cases.

 1. "Russian Navy's Way Around Turkey Closing The Bosporus To Its Warships, Literally"

22 May 2022. By H I Sutton.

See further from globalsecurity.org:

"Unified Deep Water System of European Russia (EGTC) is the system of inland waterways of Russia, linking the White Sea, the Baltic Sea , the Volga, Moscow, the Caspian Sea and the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea. Guaranteed depth throughout the EGTC are not less than 4.5 meters [about fifteen feet], allowing passage through it, not only by river vessels and river-sea class, but many sea-going vessels, warships and even nuclear submarines (on the surface)."

HARDLY secret waterways. KNOWN about but finding useful function during the Ukraine Conflict. Russian able to move certain naval assets from one area of operations to another without resorting to deep-water extended sailings and patrols.

2. "OSINT: 3 'Dark' Merchant Ships Appear Off Russian Base In Crimea"

31 May 2022. By H I Sutton.

MERCHANT VESSELS OF SOME REGISTRATION GOING TO SHIP GRAIN TAKEN AS SPOILS OF WAR?

3. "Russia Taking Captured Ukrainian Navy Vessels Into Service"

26 May 2022. By H I Sutton.

The SHAME of it all! The SHAME! Ukrainian naval personnel not SCUTTLING their vessels [or damaging them in some manner] rather than allowing them to be captured by the enemy!

I  highly recommend the H. I. Sutton "Covert Shores" Internet web site without qualification or reservation. Bookmark of make a Favorite and visit often.
