Svalbard.

This is coolbert.

Courtesy the tip from Alonzo.

A scheme and crafty action by bad actors? Who knows?

"Undersea Cable Connecting Norway With Arctic Satellite Station Has Been Mysteriously Severed"

"The cables run through a highly strategic stretch of water near where the Barents and Norwegian Sea meet."

"An undersea fiberoptic cable located between mainland Norway and the Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic Ocean has been put out of action in a still-mysterious incident."

Red arrow points to Svalbard Land. Thanks to Google Maps. Svalbard in the Greenland Sea and as shown the geographic location with relation to Greenland, Iceland, Scandinavia, Novaya Zemlya.

Consider recent articles from the Independent Barents Observer military activity the vicinity Svalbard:

1. "In a surprise direction, Northern Fleet [Russian] grouping sails west of Svalbard on annual Arctic voyage"

"The anti-submarine destroyer Severomorsk leads the Russian navy group, said to carry out 'a set of measured aimed at protecting the interests of the Russian Federation in the Arctic.'”

2. "Moscow dissatisfied with Norwegian navy visit to Arctic archipelago"

"Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Friday said the recent navy visit to Svalbard is the latest step by Oslo in a series of successive actions to include this territory in the sphere of national military development."

3. "Moscow aims to enhance presence in Svalbard as part of hybrid-strategy, expert warns"

"'A hybrid-strategy is underway in which Russia bolsters its legitimate presence in Svalbard on one hand while raising tensions in the maritime space on the other hand,' says polar geopolitics expert Elizabeth Buchanan."

4. "Disruption at one of two undersea cables to Svalbard"

"There is no redundant between the Arctic archipelago and mainland Norway after loss of power in the area where the fiberoptic cable follows the seabed down to a depth of 2,700 meters [about 9,000 feet] in the Greenland Sea."

Hooliganism on the oceanic bottom? Ripping up a fiber-optic cable in such a remote area hardly an easy task. NOR is the first time such an event has occurred! All suspicions directed at Moscow?

The ability of a Russian deep-diving submarine of the Losharik class to operate at such a depth nil. An unmanned deep submersible vehicle of the Konsul class more appropriate!

Magawa RIP.

 This is coolbert:

Magawa has terminated this existence. Rest in Peace [RIP] Magawa. Magawa the African giant pouched rat famed and honored for his work detecting land mines.

Thanks to the New York Times for the story.

"Magawa, Rat That Hunted Land Mines, Dies in Retirement"

"The African giant pouched rat [Magawa] sniffed out more than 100 mines and other pieces of unexploded ordnance in Cambodia over five years, winning hearts and an international award."

"The African giant pouched rat was part of the 'HeroRAT' initiative run by the Belgian nonprofit APOPO, which works across Southeast Asia and Africa, training rats to detect land mines and tuberculosis."

Further:

"Landmine detection rat Magawa received the PDSA Gold Medal for his life-saving work in Cambodia, making him the first rat to receive a PDSA award."

"Give me one-hundred good men like Magawa and I could conquer the world" says Napoleon.

Indeed!! They work for peanuts too!

War Book.

This is coolbert:

"CRAZY HORSE DREAMED AND WENT INTO THE WORLD WHERE THERE IS NOTHING BUT THE SPIRITS OF THINGS. THAT IS THE REAL WORLD THAT IS BEHIND THIS ONE, AND EVERYTHING WE SEE HERE IS SOMETHING LIKE A SHADOW FROM THAT WORLD…. IT WAS THIS VISION THAT GAVE HIM HIS GREAT POWER, FOR WHEN HE WENT INTO A FIGHT, HE HAD ONLY TO THINK OF THAT WORLD TO BE IN IT AGAIN, SO THAT HE COULD GO THROUGH ANYTHING AND NOT BE HURT." - - Black Elk.

"WAS LAKOTA WARRIOR LEADER CRAZY HORSE A GREAT ARTIST, TOO?"

Extracted from the Internet webzine "Coffee or Die" the original article from Henry Adams as seen in "The Conversation" Internet web site.

Found! The ledgerbook of the great American Indian warrior Crazy Horse? Never heard of such a thing!

"ledgerbook: noun - - Bookkeeping. an account book of final entry, in which business transactions are recorded."

Ledgerbook in this case a pictorial accounting of war exploits!

"Ledgerbooks by Native Americans are relatively common, but most of them date from after the Indian Wars, when Native prisoners in Florida composed and sold them to tourists for much-needed cash. This book stands out because of its early (and quite specific) production date. As McLaughlin documents in detail, a US soldier discovered the book near the scaffold burial of an Indian Chief on the Little Bighorn battlefield, shortly after Custer’s defeat. It was made not for tourists, but rather is an actual Native American 'War Book,' made by Native Americans, for Native Americans, and filled with drawings of war exploits."

This image actually shows Crazy Horse in battled against the U.S. Army cavalry? An actual battle scene from the era of the American Indian War?

"For Native American warriors, such drawings recorded history. They acted as a means to boast about their battlefield accomplishments and to improve their status among fellow warriors. They also believed the images resulted in 'good magic' for future conflicts."

Battlefield deeds and enemy vanquished as recorded allowing for legitimate bragging rights. Renderings and sketches of this nature showing an adversary overcome in battle also believed by traditional and non-technological societies often thought of as grabbing "the spirit or essence" of the foe?

DEF.

This is coolbert:

Devoted readers to the blog please understand this is an extremely controversial topic.

Infamous American war crime Second World War. Eisenhower's Death Camps as referred in the aftermath of the conflict, 1945.

For those not up to speed, peruse at your leisure the following links:

https://en.topwar.ru/1452-lagerya-smerti-yejzenxauyera.html

https://allthatsinteresting.com/rheinwiesenlager

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rheinwiesenlager

https://ww2truth.com/2021/01/23/in-eisenhowers-death-camps-a-u-s-guard-remembers/

As is alleged, about one million German soldiers perishing while being held in detention camps run by the U.S. Army, not provided for and dying from neglect, starvation, disease.

Now see the Mark Felton You Tube video the expert opinion of professional historians.

Numbers of German dead vastly exaggerated? Figures of U.S. Army and German experts post-war slightly different but total not in the million, far less, no greater than five thousand? As is made clear in the Mark Felton video the detained soldiers not traditional prisoners-of-war. Not captured on the battlefield and ruled such by Eisenhower. Referred to as Detained Enemy Forces [DEF] and not POW.

Make no mistake about it. Those camps never intended to "house" enormous numbers of detainees. Conditions acknowledged as exceedingly poor. Deaths from maltreatment however way far less than alleged by persons with an agenda.

HEFFG.

This is coolbert:

Heard this all before! Will believe it when I see it! Had better work better than the highly-touted electromagnetic railgun!

"NAVY’S FUSION PLANS COULD PRODUCE A WORLD-SHATTERING WEAPON"

By Alex Hollings and Sandboxx courtesy the "Black Rifle Coffee" webzine "Coffee or Die".

"Fusion weapons could more closely resemble something from a Star Wars movie than currently existing nuclear weapons."

"In 2019, the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) filed a number of seemingly out-of-this-world patents that could, in theory, revolutionize not only military aviation, but just about everything. Chief among these strange new inventions is a High Energy Electromagnetic Field Generator [HEEFG], which if functional, could produce massive amounts of power with far-reaching military and commercial implications."

A power source or a weapon source or both?

American and other scientists around the world have been working on nuclear fusion devices for many decades now. Have made incremental improvements at achieving nuclear fusion but to date not even close to approaching the level of a operating fusion reactor feasible to bring on-line in some capacity. Always more energy in than energy out.

The electro-magnetic railgun never achieving the results as desired also after decades or research and development. I guess this FUSION apparatus is a believe-it-when-you-see-it proposition.

Motorcycle.

This is coolbert:

Once more I sail into troubled water. Normally hesitate to do so but here it is.

From G2mil and thanks to same:

"Are Motorcycles Deadlier than COVID?"

"I’ve [G2mil] blogged about this before but here is an update. Over the past year, COVID has killed 11 active duty sailors and one active duty US marine. Motorcycle accidents have killed 17 active duty sailors and 9 US marines. Yet servicemen are still allowed to ride motorcycles but all must have a vaccine to resist the danger of COVID. For readers who haven’t paid attention, the 'vaccines' do not prevent COVID or its spread, they just lessen symptoms for a few months."

G2mil correct. The Covid vaccine of whatever manufacture as touted not a vaccine as normally, generally and commonly understood. A prophylactic yes. A vaccine? Questionable.

Personally I was so elated to get my initial two shots and the booster. Far less so elated now.
