Protestors.

This is coolbert:

Demonstrations Russia? Anti-war? The Ukraine fights back?

Thanks to the tip from Ivan!

"Russians take to the streets to protest Putin's war as Ukraine fights back"

"There’s bravery in the streets on the Russian side of the border with Ukraine today"

My instantaneous reaction was that any anti-war demonstrations in Russia might not well be spontaneous gatherings but rather carefully orchestrated government controlled exercises. Maybe I am wrong.

Also some tweets of interest:

@olliecarroll

"Ukrainians are offering serious resistance to tank advances from belarus and the east. Javelins and Turkish drones offering some success. Southern axis Odessa - Melitopol looking less secure."

* Kevin Rothrock

@KevinRothrock

"Moscow seems to have seriously expected large numbers of Ukrainian soldiers to lay down their weapons and abandon their posts. I don’t know what will happen if and when the occupation expands, but this seems like one of the Russian authorities’ many delusions."

* Stratcom Centre UA

@StratcomCentre

⚡️ "Russian assault force in Hostomel airport fully destroyed.

The facility is entirely under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — adviser to Head of the Presidential Office Oleksii Arestovych. #StandWithUkraine"

With regard to the last tweet vial Stratcom Centre UA my thought was that the airport Hostomel [close to Kiev] when captured by the Russian air assault units would be followed by air-landing troops with light armor. The lighting-fast attack Kiev with the destruction of the Ukrainian command structure the goal.

Situation Ukraine less than catastrophic or dire? Tweets as you can imagine hardly tell you the full story. More like rumors or gossip.
