"The Mosul dam on the Tigris River, the only source of water for more than a million people, was originally built by an Italian-German consortium in the 1980s. It was captured by ISIS last year and held for a month until it was recaptured by an Iraqi-Kurdish force backed by the US."

It is fair to ask the question: Why send Italian boys to do a job that Kurdish boys and Iraqi boys should be able to do for themselves? Why indeed!
