Fragging.

I thought this was all a thing of the past. Evidently it is not so.

Fragging. A not common event during the Vietnam War but not so rare either.

"Fragging is the deliberate or attempted killing by a soldier of a fellow soldier, usually of a superior officer or non-commissioned officer (NCO)"

The weapon of choice during fragging incidents usually a hand grenade. In this case it is reported that a MORTAR ROUND was used!

With the voluntary military USA you might have well reasoned that indeed fragging was a thing of the past relegated to the history books. Angry, hate-filled and disaffected conscripts no longer filling the ranks with grudges against superiors. I guess I am not so totally correct.
