So far from home but not so far from home! Canadian citizens, ethnic Ukrainians, volunteer for military service. Arrive Kiev. Awaiting the Russian invader. 

Canada does have a significant population of ethnic Ukrainians. Persons retaining to a degree their ancient Slavonic tradtions, living in the western provinces [the prairie provinces] farming those cultivated lands most suitable for the growing of grain.
