They are air refuelable, so can be flown directly to a launch base anywhere in the world. US logistical resources could get the support equipment and personnel to such a base, no problem. Would Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Turkey, or Bulgaria permit stationing US or NATO aircraft it knew were going to be used against Russian forces in combat missions? Yes, all are NATO countries, but the treaty calls for defensive ops and realpolitic says that, if the goal is NOT change of regime in Moscow, then they will have serious issues themselves with Russian when the Ukrainian conflict is over."

STRICTLY HERE SPEAKING OF AMERICAN PILOTED A-10 BEING FLOWN INTO THE COMBAT ZONE UKRAINE. OPERATING OUT OF NATO AIRBASES!

Russians too assuredly so will be highly displeased and immediately take some sort of retaliatory action. Combat on NATO land that will result in an ever widening war super-quick pronto to the detriment of everyone. Be careful. Be very careful!
