USMC Izumo

This is coolbet:

F-35B Unit - Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA-242) at your service!

American warplanes demonstrating the light-carrier concept Japan style. JS Izumo. Only last month. Courtesy You Tube for the video.

"USMC F-35B Lands and Takes-Off Aboard Japanese Ship Izumo"

"U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II aircraft lands and takes-off on the Japanese Ship Izumo, October 3, 2021. This marks the first time a fixed wing aircraft has launched and landed on a Japanese naval vessel since WWII. The Izumo is officially classified as a multi-purpose operation destroyer, but is being converted to a light aircraft carrier."

Impressive! With the F-35B you DO NOT need a catapult for launch or arresting gear to stop! A much simpler warship suffices. The light aircraft carrier with high-performance combat aviation now a proven winner.

NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS. ALL POSITIVE. A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE 7 DECEMBER 1941.

coolbert.
