A SUGGESTION THAT IS ILLEGAL!!

"Excluding veterans from the hiring process at the Racine Police Department [WI] was among the suggestions for reform included in a report from the Mayor’s Task Force on Police Reform released on Tuesday in Racine, Wisconsin. The suggestion raised considerable concerns among the veteran and law enforcement communities across the country."

THERE IS A MILITARY DIMENSION BEYOND THE EXCLUSION OF VETERANS "FROM THE HIRING PROCESS".

The military police MOS [military skill] is only one of two occupations in the military that is instantly transferrable from military to civilian duty. NO additional or further training required. Experience already a factor for hiring as well. 

AGAIN THIS TASK FORCE SUGGESTION IF ATTEMPTED TO BE IMPLEMENTED WILL BE FOUND TO BE ILLEGAL. 

And just for clarification sake vehicle mechanic the other military MOS "instantly transferrable from military to civilian duty".

P.S.: Enlisted military MOS "instantly transferrable". A pilot of course in a league of their own.
