Detonation of Tsar overwhelming. Was supposed to be a one-hundred megaton bomb but scaled-down to fifty-two megatons. Bomb carried to target by specially painted [anti-flash] Tu-95 BEAR bomber, Tsar slung under the warplane rather than carried in the bomb-bay compartment. That apparatus of personnel and equipment as needed to monitor the test astounding. My understanding is that thermo-nuclear weapons can be scaled-up to any size desired. Good luck with that.
