"TYPHOON PROBLEMS"
Thanks to WIZARD through Harry at Sharkhunters.
"The UK's key defense manufacturer BAE Systems plants to cut some 1,000 jobs this week as orders for the Typhoon jet fighter are drying up. A spokesman said that the life of the Typhoon as a product has peaked. They have produced 160 Typhoon fighters for the Royal Air Force [RAF] and are down to producing the last 12 for Oman and now there is a new order for 24 Typhoon fighters from Qatar - - but there does not appear to be any further orders for Typhoon fighters coming anytime soon, and so the work force will have 1,000 jobs cut."
Further concerning that number of Typhoon as delivered to the RAF:
From the source MoD/RUSI Oct 2014 as seen at this web site that number of Typhoon as available [2014] only forty!!
