Electronic warfare counter-measures pod the ALQ-213. Detects the signature of a shoulder-fired pea-shooter infra-red guided surface-air-missile of the Soviet/Russian Grail type and disperses counter-measures. [presumably flares].

Originally a Danish Air Force design for their F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, the AN/ALQ-213(V), called a Electronic Warfare Management System (EWMS) . . . its function is electronics countermeasures suite controller. It is now used on different aircraft, by different countries, all with the goal of reducing workload, especially on single-seat aircraft. It also assists the crew in fusing the information from the multiple on-board electronic warfare subsystems.

This counter-measures pod greatly [?] enhances survivability in the non-permissive and counter-insurgency environment

NO gun and NO cluster-bomb dispenser. Archangel does not need? Weaponry and ordnance already available and being carried sufficient as it is??

Evidently at some point during development it was decided to fit a gun to the warplane? That image accompany this blog entry was of the GAU-19 multi-barrel 12.7mm gun [capable of carrying] 2,900 rounds. So such an option [gun] might be available.
