This is coolbert:
South of the border, Antarctica way!
From PETER PARKER through Harry at Sharkhunters:
"There is quite a lot activity going on at the bottom of the world. The Russians have moved in some 100,000 personnel (troops???); the US Navy and/or Coast Guard have deployed mos of their ice breaker fleet down there; someone has built no less than 36 helipads for large helicopters."
Antarctica. Summer down there now. Fine time for sailing I suppose.
That figure of 100,000 personnel just seems to be so fantastic! Logistical support to move that number of troops [?] and sustain them a monumental task beyond the ability of just about anyone!!
And if this is all true, for what?
coolbert.
