This is coolbert:
North Korea, Comrade Kim and his trained-mice citizenry up in arms as usual. That choice of words most unfortunate.
Irate, escalate, intolerable, despicable, fan up.
"North Korea blasts Christmas tree near border as ‘despicable psychological warfare’"
"North Korea is irate at its neighbor to the south for its decision to allow Christians to erect a 30-foot Christmas tree roughly two miles from the border, saying it will 'escalate confrontation' and cause a war.
The KCNA news agency, North Korea’s state-run media apparatus, described the Christmas tree as an 'intolerable insult' and an act of 'despicable psychological warfare' by South Korea that 'will fan up the confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and bring a war disaster.'”
Even a mention of North Korea and Christmas in the same article is almost absurd just of itself.
The last time I can think of such an instance was during the Pueblo Crisis of 1968. That is over forty years ago now.
American naval ship as captured by the North Koreans on the high seas, international waters, an act of war, American sailors having to endure a cruel and harsh imprisonment.
THOSE NORTH KOREAN CAPTORS TELLING THE AMERICAN SAILORS THAT THERE WAS NOT LONGER A NEED TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS AS THE RUSSIANS HAD SHOT SANTA CLAUS DOWN WITH A MISSILE.
SANTA CLAUS AND HIS SLED PULLED BY A TEAM OF REINDEER FROM THE NORTH POLE OBVIOUSLY THE CHILDREN'S FABLE THE NORTH KOREAN HOWEVER TOTALLY 100 % SERIOUS, BELIEVING THAT SANTA INDEED NOT ONLY EXISTED IN REAL LIFE BUT WAS DOWNED BY A RUSSIAN SAM!
OH YES!! "Merry Christmas to all and to all good night."
coolbert.
