Threats.

This is coolbert:

More on the Doklam crisis. The stand-off between China and India.

Tensions unabated. Threats made. Nuclear powers at loggerheads as they say.

Thanks to Business Standard and the tip from Freeper. Nice image courtesy of Business Standard.

1. "Doklam: China mulls small-scale military ops to purge Indians in 2 weeks"

"The expert believed Indian foreign ministry would be informed beforehand"

"China is planning a "small scale military operation" to "expel" Indian troops from the Doklam area "within two weeks", an article in a state-run daily here said on Saturday."

2. "Doklam: Our army will 'annihilate' Indian troops, Chinese media warns Modi"

"'Modi mustn't pull India into reckless conflict'"

3. "Remember 1962 defeat: Chinese media warns India again amid Sikkim standoff"

"China has accused Indian troops of transgressing into its territory; stand-off started on June 16"

And who is going to back down first or can anyone arrive at an amicable agreement to settle differences?

Small-scale operation escalates into a large-scale operation and perhaps even beyond with the consequences potentially most terrible.

Some damn fool thing in the Himalaya! Doklam too might become another geography lesson for the American public? I hope not.
