Greece & Israel.

This is coolbert:

From the Sheldon Adelson Internet web site and the article by Omer Dostri:

"Greece and Israel: What's next?"

Israel and Greece having developed in recent years a special relationship [strategic alliance] this arrangement now seen as possibly in peril in the aftermath of the recent Greek elections.

"The Greek parliamentary elections and the rise of the Coalition of the Radical Left (Syriza) has naturally set off alarm bells in the European Union. Syriza leader Alexis Tsipras, an isolationist who is hostile to idea of a common currency, is now the head of a new government that includes the right-wing Independent Greeks. This new government should have Israel worried as well."

. . . .

"Tsipras' new government could jeopardize this strategic alliance [between Israel and Greece], as his party has subscribed to a pro-Palestinian agenda. In fact, in its 40-point manifesto from 2012, it calls for an end to the joint security cooperation with the Jewish state"

That entire region of the eastern Mediterranean having the potentiality as a flash point for future conflict. That area having undersea reserves of proven and exploitable natural gas. As coveted and claimed by a host of nations to include: Israel, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus, and perhaps even Greece.

All of those nations with the exception of Cyprus [?] to one degree or another at loggerheads, AND DON'T FORGET THAT ISIL CLAIMS DOMINION OVER THE LAND OF AL SHAMS AS A CALIPHATE, STRETCHING ALL THE WAY TO THE SHORES OF THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN AS IT WAS IN ANCIENT TIMES!
