Infiltration?

This is coolbert:

Here from the Daniel Pipes web site, is a much more complete, to the extent that it is known, listing of what Daniel refers to as "Islamist Infiltrators".

Persons alleged to have "infiltrated", on behalf of Islamic militancy [Al Qaeda?? in particular], the American military/intelligence/security/police apparatus. And done so quite successfully too!! [again, alleged in almost all cases!!]

Persons whose behavior or background raised eyebrows and caught the attention of the authorities.

"The West's Islamist Infiltrators"
by Daniel Pipes, Philadelphia Bulletin, August 12, 2008.

"an estimated forty Al-Qaeda sympathizers or operatives have sought to penetrate U.S. intelligence agencies." [this of course includes all those suspected or KNOWN and whose "cases" have been made public!!]

Some of these folks are already known to us and have been blogged about! For instance:

Nadim, Nadire, Aafia!!

"Nada Nadim Prouty, a Lebanese immigrant who worked for both the FBI and CIA"! NO, AN ILLEGAL ALIEN WHO WORKED FOR BOTH THE FBI AND CIA!!

"Nadire P. Zenelaj, 32, a 911 emergency operator of Albanian origins"

"Aafia Siddiqui, 36, is a Pakistani mother of three, an alumna of MIT, and a Ph.D. in neuroscience"

From the list of Daniel Pipes, these particular entries stand out:

* "a baggage screener at Detroit's Metro Airport"

* "checking police databases without authorization" [Nadim and Nadire both did the same!!]

* "an airport baggage screener"

* "FBI Special Agent"

* "former U.S. Navy commander, and special assistant to the deputy secretary of defense"

Checking databases. Baggage screeners. Etc. And these are the known or suspected cases that have been made public. More is out there not even made apparent?

Evidently - - too - - there is a protocol for checking the backgrounds of TSA baggage screeners? Perhaps even a secret protocol? And to some extent, this protocol does work?? I hope so!!

coolbert.
